Welcome to the Sofisticat Site. Sofisticat, a non-profit organization, is a member of Felis Romania, and in turn Felis Romania is a member of Federation Internationale Feline (FIFe).

Our aims are:-
- to promote the welfare of all cat breeds;
- to organize exciting cat shows;
- to promote interest in and knowledge of all domestic cats;
- to have friendship and promote the interest of the owners, cat fanciers and breeders of cats;
- to encourage healthy breeding towards FIFe breed standards and the registration of cats;
- to promote and encourage kindness to all animals and assist in the prevention of cruelty to all animals;
- to encourage the spaying and neutering of any and all cats not specifically being used as part of a viable breeding programme in order to reduce the over-population of unwanted cats.

On our site you will find information on our shows and events. We are continuously adding pictures of our beautiful cats, and hope that you will look at our site from time to time.
